Port Washington’s holiday spirit is in full force thanks to the brightly lit LED snowflakes that can be seen all over town.
The Greater Port Washington Business Improvement District and Home Run Electric recently installed these snowflake decorations for the holiday season.
“They truly add to the wonderful festive spirit displayed by our community during the holiday season,” Councilwoman Dina De Giorgio said in a press release.
For many years, the BID’s Board of Directors have worked with the Town of North Hempstead on installing these lights to improve the quality of life and overall image for Port Washington’s residents.
“Having our downtown streets lined with these snowflakes will certainly elicit the joyful feelings that embody this very special time of the year,” Supervisor Judi Bosworth said.
BID Executive Director Mariann Dalimonte thanked Bosworth, De Giorgio, Home Run Electric and Superintendent of Highways Tom Tiernan for working with the BID to beautify the town for the holiday season. – Bright Snowflakes Illuminate Port Washington This Holiday Season, Port Washington, NY
